Professor Tom Welton, Dean of the Faculty of Natural Sciences at Imperial College London, President of the Royal Society of Chemistry and is the world’s first Professor of Sustainable Chemistry.
Our modern way of life is dependent on the products of the synthetic chemicals industries. However, this can also have considerable downsides, especially the pollution that comes from casually discarding these without thought to where they end up in the environment. In this talk I will look at combining our knowledge of chemistry with some simple tips, so that we can all contribute to a cleaner world.
