  • Dr Don Cotton Memorial Lecture with Ralph Sheppard
  • ATU Sligo room A0005
  • 8.00pm
  • Public Event (All Ages)

Ralph Sheppard grew up in the NW, and returned here after a decade lecturing in ecology in Bristol, to spend more than three decades in consultancy.  For both Ralph and Don, birds were the spark that lit their early passion for wildlife – insects and wildflowers inevitably followed.  Both found that the dearth of knowledge in their respective counties (Don in Sligo and Ralph in Donegal) kept them largely rooted within the county boundaries.  This talk will outline Ralph’s explorations of Donegal’s wildlife.
